Your Business Finances Don't Have to Be Complicated

We teach business owners and managers the financial fundamentals that actually matter. No jargon, no overwhelming theory—just practical skills you'll use every single day.

What You'll Actually Learn

Most finance courses throw everything at you. We focus on the three areas that make the biggest difference for small and mid-size businesses operating in competitive markets.

Cash Flow Management

Understanding where money comes from and where it goes sounds simple. But most business failures happen because owners lose track of cash timing. We show you systems that work without hiring an accountant.

Financial Decision Making

Should you hire someone new? Invest in equipment? Expand to a new location? Every decision changes your numbers. You'll learn how to evaluate options using real data from your business.

Reading Financial Statements

Balance sheets and income statements contain the story of your business. We break down what each line means and which numbers deserve your attention every week versus every quarter.

Why Business Owners Choose Our Approach

Traditional finance education assumes you're working toward a degree or certification. That's not what most business owners need.

You need to understand your numbers well enough to make better decisions this month. To know whether you're actually profitable. To plan for growth without guessing.

Our courses start with your real business situation. We work through examples from retail, services, manufacturing—whatever matches your industry. The concepts stick because you're applying them to problems you already have.

Next cohort begins September 2025. Limited to 15 participants to allow individual attention.

Two Paths, Same Goal

Foundation Course

  • Basic accounting principles anyone can learn
  • Setting up tracking systems that don't require special software
  • Monthly financial review process
  • Identifying problems before they become crises
  • Eight weeks, one evening per week
  • Starts October 2025

Strategic Finance

  • Financial forecasting and scenario planning
  • Pricing strategies based on actual costs
  • Investment analysis and capital allocation
  • Working with banks and investors
  • Twelve weeks, requires Foundation or equivalent experience
  • Starts January 2026

Learning From Someone Who Runs a Business Too

I spent fifteen years as a CFO for three different companies before starting to teach. The experience gave me perspective on what actually matters versus what business schools emphasize.

Theory matters, but only when you can apply it on Monday morning. Every example in our courses comes from real situations—sometimes successes, often mistakes that taught me something valuable.

Class size stays small because finance makes more sense when we can discuss your specific questions. General answers don't help much when you're trying to figure out your particular cash flow problem.
